Shipping Services

There are potentially several methods of transport at your disposal when shipping a boat internationally. As an independent, we can assess and recommend the best option for you.

With over ten years’ experience in the industry, our friendly staff are able to explain the pros and cons of each method and allow you to make an informed decision.

Factors’ determining which service is best for you are;

1. Size and weight of the boat
2. Origin and destination ports
3. Timing and deadlines
All of these 3 points come into play when tailoring a solution for you.

Whilst some services are more cost effective, they’re often associated with higher risks and penalty clauses. Economical services are ideal for someone who is not restricted by time and is flexible with ports of loading and discharge.  If you need to be somewhere by a particular date however, then a liner service may be better suited to your needs.

A Liner service is a premium service and offers regular sailings and fixed port calls. These carriers run like clockwork and service the world’s major trade lanes. If you are interested in reading more about the different services mentioned above, this document explains the advantages and disadvantages of both.

We would be pleased to discuss all of the above with you on an obligation free basis. Whether it’s a trailer boat, a trawler or a superyacht, our experienced staff are here to guide you ever step of the way.
